Pittsburg boys basketball enters state rankings

The PHS boys basketball team is ranked in the top 10 in the state for the first time this season.
A poll released by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association (KBCA) on Tuesday, Jan. 20th, placed Pittsburg 7th in the 5A class.
The Dragons have won six of their last seven games. With a 4-1 record, Pittsburg is ranked second place in the SEK, falling behind Parsons who is ranked second in the state in the 4A division.
The boys’ next game will be at Independence on Jan. 31.
