Boys basketball win substate championship, state bound

The varsity boys basketball team defeated Spring Hill at home 82-52 Saturday, March 6. The Dragons will advance to the first round of the state tournament and will play Tuesday, March 9 against De Soto High School. Senior Javon Grant scored 41 points.

Assistant Principal Kris Crotts addresses a concern made by Junior Jerzi Stevens. Stevens’ concern about the potential use of locking phone bags which would require the staff to unlock the bags in case of an emergency. “In that event (evacuation due to an intruder), what would they do to let their parents/guardians know that they are safe, ” an attendee said in the survey.
