Keith Matlock is in his ninth year coaching baseball for the Dragons.
On Tuesday, April 6, head baseball coach Keith Matlock reached 100 career wins in Pittsburg.
Although excited, Matlock doesn’t feel the credit belongs solely to himself.
“It feels good,” Matlock said. “Obviously it’s a product of having really good players, really good assistants helping me out, and obviously a community that supports us really well.”
The Dragons are off to a 2-1 start this season and Matlock is optimistic as the season progresses.
“We’ve got kids buying into the roles they are going to play throughout the season,” Matlock said. “So I feel good going forward.”
The Dragons play at Ft. Scott on Thursday.
