Senior Alyssa Hotze signed with Pittsburg State University’s women’s soccer team on Nov. 13.
“I have always wanted to play collegiate soccer,” Hotze said. “My goals for college are to be the best I can be and drive myself to get better every day and hopefully encourage those around me to do the same.”
This year, Pitt State is introducing the women’s soccer team. Hotze will join them for their second season.
“At Pitt State, I am looking forward to experiencing soccer at the next level,” Hotz said. “I think I can bring a high level of energy and motivation to the team.”
Hotze has been playing soccer for 13 years now; starting with recreational and advancing to varsity and club soccer.
“I love soccer. My favorite thing about it is the intensity and hustle it takes overall,” Hotze said. “I love to compete. I’m naturally very competitive and I think soccer has been a great outlet for my competitiveness.”
