The rise of thrifting

Thrifting has been around for a while but lately, there’s been a rise in popularity for second-hand shopping. Social media influencers like Emma Chamberlain, have popularized the second-hand clothing market. With this, they have gotten rid of the stigma around “used” clothing. For some students, second-hand shopping wasn’t a choice but was what they grew up with. Below is a photo gallery of students showing their outfits they’ve thrifted or bought second-hand.
