Since spring of last semester, the dance team has been prepping for football season.  They had toning classes and a summer camp and they are continuing to practice this fall semester.

“We practice every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:15 to 7:30 and on game weeks, it’s every morning,” freshman Greely Arck said. “We do [a lot] of toning and really just work hard in the studio.”

The team is working hard to reach their highest potential and their coach Makaihlah Stover is seeing to it.

“She’s really pushing us to our best ability and making sure that we are held accountable for how hard we work,” Arck said.  “She’s also getting really good choreographers to come in and teach. I think she is really giving us what we need.”

Arck hopes their hard work will pay off and looks for a good season this year.

“Our dances have some really cool moves in them and I think people are really going to like them,” Arck said. “I hope [this season] is filled with fun memories and lots of amazing dances that everyone will love.”
