Reaching Out! Assistant Principal Kris Crotts hosts a meeting on Oct. 7 with 45 students randomly selected from their study halls to talk about a new phone policy for the school. Cell phone usage has been a growing concern for teachers as many see cell phones as a distraction for students while a ban on cell phones is very unpopular with the students. “You're setting your students up for failure in post high school situations,” an attendee said anonymously in a survey.
